FAIRE REVIVRE À NEUF LES VOITURES DE COURSE ANCIENNES !

L’édition 2021 du Tour auto Optic 2ooo, la trentième, a cueilli par brassées les nouveaux paysages entre Paris et Nice, en passant par la Bourgogne, la Savoie, l’Auvergne. Nouveau lieu de départ, aussi, et nouveau photographe. Mathieu Bonnevie, amoureux du Tour, nous livre ici sa vision d’une semaine de course, compilation d’instants saisis, parmi les autos et les concurrents, sur les spéciales, les circuits et les liaisons. Et bien sûr, foison de voitures, chacune exceptionnelle, qui composent une grille de départ jamais vue et jamais si riche. Les Jaguar E, Shelby Cobra, Porsche 906 sont là, et les Lotus, les Aston, les Alfa, les Alpine. Bien sûr, diront les blasés. S’y ajoutent cette année nombre de Jaguar Mk 2 et de Ferrari 250 GT, modèles invités. Les Matra 650, Ferrari 250 MM et Ford GT40 font un sommet glorieux à cette pyramide.

A NEW LOOK AT OLD RACING CARS!

The 2021 edition of the Tour Auto, the thirtieth, offered a wealth of new landscapes, passing through Burgundy, Savoie and the Auvergne on its way from Paris to Nice. A new starting point too, and a new photographer. Mathieu Bonnevie, a lover of the Tour, shares with us his vision of a week of competition, a collection of fleeting images of the cars and competitors, on the special stages, circuits and liaison sections. And, of course, a multitude of cars, all of them exceptional, forming an unprecedented and unrivalled line-up at the start. The E-Type Jaguars, Shelby Cobras and Porsche 906s were there, so too the Lotus, Astons, Alfas and Alpines. Of course, the blasé would say. They were joined this year by a number of Jaguar Mark 2s and Ferrari 250 GTs as special guests. The Matra 650, Ferrari 250 MM and Ford GT 40 were the crowning glory at the top of the pyramid.
